Who I am: Laura Williams, Assistant Head Why I wanted to be a Champ: I want to support the wellbeing of learners, staff, and parents by promoting awareness, providing guidance, and fostering a positive, inclusive environment where everyone feels valued and supported A fun fact about me: I love a good challenge—whether it's walking up a big hill, testing out a wild creative idea, or attempting to keep a houseplant alive (with mixed results)! How you can reach me: For mental health support, I am available Monday to Wednesday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM and 3.30- 4.00pm for staff and parent queries. You can reach me in person during these times or via email. Learner referrals can be made via email at any time, and I will respond as soon as possible within my working hours. |

Who I am: Hannah Player, Office Administrator Why I wanted to be a Champ: I want to be able to support my colleagues with their mental health and wellbeing. I want to be able to create an environment where all staff feel able to speak freely and feel supported. A fun fact about me: I am very creative; I have danced from the age of 3, sang in choirs and bands and went to art school to obtain a degree in Illustration. Who I am: Masuma Rajwani, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead – Family Support Why I wanted to be a Champ: Being a Mental Health Champion is an opportunity for me to try and make a tangible difference in people lives. Mental health is just as important as physical health, yet misunderstood. I would like to help break down the stigma, foster understanding, and ensure that others feel supported when they are struggling. A fun fact about me: A fun fact about me is that I love badminton and have won a cup in my category at a tournament in the UK. I love creating unique gifts to make any occasion special, and there is nothing better than seeing a smile on someone’s face. I also speak six languages, and I am originally from Africa.
